The policies that govern your use of Hijabiin: Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Returns & Shipping Policy.
What changed recently
Accounts are now created with explicit, recorded acceptance of the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy and a confirmation of being 18 or older, with marketing messages as a separate choice; existing accounts are asked for the same acceptance before ordering or messaging, and the Platform keeps which text was accepted and when. Store owners accept a Seller Agreement before using the store dashboard. The Platform is now the seller to the customer in every order: it issues the invoice in its own name and answers to the customer for each item matching its description, its return and its refund, as the Buyer Protection and Complaints and Disputes pages explain. The Privacy Policy now states where data is kept (the European Union) and what reaches providers outside Jordan. Changes to the Terms, in the custom tailoring section: if the boutique cancels a tailoring request after production has started, the deposit is refunded to you in full with no fee, while the deposit is still kept in full as a non-refundable cancellation fee when you cancel after the deposit payment is confirmed; no tailoring request is cancelled while a transfer proof uploaded for it awaits the Platform team's decision; the minimum price of a tailoring request is five Jordanian dinars; and any amount refunded on a tailoring request is returned by a transfer approved by the Platform team. The Privacy Policy now also states your right to be told of any breach of your data's security likely to cause you serious harm: a notice within 24 hours of its discovery whatever your notification preferences, and a report to the Personal Data Protection Unit at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship within 72 hours. The policy now names every service that processes data on the Platform's behalf, including error tracking and suggested support-reply drafts; and review photos and tailoring reference photos reach automated review only on a tier that does not use them to train models.
- Terms of UseThe agreement that governs your use of Hijabiin as a shopper or a boutique: accounts, orders, payment, content and responsibilities.
- Privacy PolicyWhat data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your export and deletion rights.
- Returns & Shipping PolicyWhere we deliver and for how much, how to track your parcel, the conditions for a return within three days of delivery, and the two-step refund.
- Buyer ProtectionWhat “every order is protected by Hijabiin” means: what the protection covers, what it does not, its time limits, and how to claim it.
- Complaints and DisputesHow to file a complaint, when it is answered, how it is decided, and where to turn if it is not resolved on the Platform.
- Seller AgreementThis agreement governs the relationship between the Platform and every seller on it, whether a boutique or a seller under the Hijabiin name: the seller supplies its goods to the Platform, and the Platform sells them to the customer. The store owner accepts it before the store dashboard opens, and again after every material change.
- Delete your account and dataHow to request account deletion on the website or in the app, what is deleted and what is kept and why, and how to ask when you cannot sign in.
