Delete your account and data

How to request account deletion on the website or in the app, what is deleted and what is kept and why, and how to ask when you cannot sign in.

1. How to request deletion

  • On the website: sign in, open "Account" then "Settings", and in the "Your data" section choose "Request deletion" and confirm with "Yes, delete my account".
  • In the mobile app: open "Account" then "Your data", choose "Request deletion" and confirm on the same screen.
  • Seller accounts and store team members: the same way. A store owner's request is a request to close the store; it is accepted only once the store is settled, and when it is refused the screen shows what is left to settle.

2. What is deleted

  • Identifying data: the name, e-mail address and phone number are replaced with anonymous values that cannot be linked back to the account holder; the account is closed for good and signed out of every device.
  • Saved body measurements, push-notification tokens registered for the account's devices, and earlier data-export files.
  • Free text the account holder wrote: support ticket text and replies (attachments are deleted), chat messages sent, review comments (the stars stay), tailoring request descriptions and the reasons given for cancelling or disputing them, return request descriptions and hem-shortening notes, and what was requested in wholesale quote requests with their notes, the sender's name and e-mail being replaced (the company name and the replies of the store and the Platform remain); review photos and tailoring reference photos are deleted.
  • The Google or Apple sign-in link (Apple is asked to revoke the permission), and the account's referral code is disabled.
  • The transfer reference on payments is erased; only a keyed cryptographic fingerprint remains, kept solely to match a disputed transfer against the bank statement.
  • One confirmation is sent to the e-mail address the account had once the deletion is complete.

3. What is kept, and why

Orders and financial records are permanent ledgers that may not be edited or deleted under accounting and tax rules, so deletion anonymises the account rather than erasing the record:

  • Orders, payments, the financial ledgers and the audit log: kept, with no identity that can be linked to the account holder.
  • Issued tax invoices and credit notes: tax documents that cannot be changed, so they keep the name, phone and address printed on them.
  • Uploaded transfer-proof images and returned-item photos filed with a return request: kept in the financial records and the order history as evidence of payment and return.
  • The consent log: kept against the anonymised account, because the Platform must be able to prove the consent it processed data on.
  • Seller identity documents and the payout account: kept for five years after the store closes under anti-money-laundering record-keeping practice, then deleted automatically.
  • The other party's messages in chats and tickets: kept with their status and dates, without the account holder's text.

4. Before you request

  • Deletion is final and cannot be undone.
  • It is not carried out while the account has an open tailoring request.
  • It is not carried out while the account has a refund still in progress or unspent refund credit, since that is money owed to the account holder; what is left is shown when a request is refused.
  • Store owners must settle the store first: no orders being prepared or shipped, no open return, and no pending payouts or amounts due; what is left is shown when a request is refused.
  • To get a copy of your data first: "Your data", then "Request export".

5. Timing and follow-up

The Platform team reviews deletion requests and carries them out in order. The request's status shows in the account (under review, processing, completed, rejected), and a confirmation is e-mailed on completion. If a request is refused the reason is shown and it can be filed again once resolved.

6. If you cannot sign in

Anyone who cannot sign in (lost credentials, or a store that was suspended or closed) can file the deletion request from the public support page without an account, naming the registered e-mail address. The Platform team verifies identity, files the request on the holder's behalf and carries it out the same way.
